Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Lucie Costa committed her life to the Lord at a young age, was baptized at the age of twelve and believes that God ‘called’ her to be a minister of the Gospel when she was sixteen years old. Lucie started singing in various church conferences and meetings with choirs and as a soloist. At the age of nineteen she met her husband, Aldo, and together they continued to minister in prisons, coffee houses and more church settings, singing and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 1988 they married and have been ministering in full time service to the Body of Christ ever since. After graduating from North Central Bible College, Lucie and her husband began traveling as Music and Drama evangelists throughout Canada and the United States for eight years prior to fulfilling a position as Worship and Ministering Arts pastors in a local church in Seattle. One of Lucie’s strong abilities is to recognize people’s giftings and callings and to provide direction to help them fulfill their destinies. Lucie’s love for the ministering arts has led her to write and produce skits, productions and songs. Her passion has been to encourage free-style worship with various musical teams and soloists. Lucie is an inspired singer/songwriter and has recorded two CD’s with her husband and has also released her own solo album, Father.

Throughout the years, Lucie has also moved out to be a motivational speaker for women’s conferences and retreat settings. She has ministered in state prisons, schools, Bible colleges and various church services across the U.S. and Canada.

Her ministry style is passionate and challenging! Her gifts of preaching and leading worship have opened up many opportunities for her to minister in many diverse church settings. Over the years, throughout her conferences, she has had the privilege of seeing the power of God move in incredible ways in healing, deliverance, and salvation. Lucie’s passion is to see God ‘set the captives free’ - all to His glory!

Lucie preaches from a deep love and passion for God. She also loves to laugh and includes humor in her speaking. She exudes a realness about herself and about life that allows the listeners to relax and relate.

Lucie has recently relocated to McKinney, Texas with her family to expand another extension of her ministry, a Christian Women’s publication which she founded in January 2005, called Beautiful One Magazine.

Lucie’s deepest desire is to share with women that God created them on purpose for a purpose; a truth many women have not yet grasped but desperately need to hear!

The ministry and purpose for Beautiful One Magazine is to let women of all walks of life know that they are valuable, that they are beautiful inside and out regardless of their background or circumstances or the tragedies that have become part of their lives.
Lucie’s desire for women (and all people) is that they become free! Free to embrace Christ’s unconditional love for them; free to take off the masks they wear every day; free to be who they are – all that God created them to be…

Beautiful One Magazine is just a tool; a tool to get the message across to women that yes, there is hope, yes, there is peace and yes, there is joy that can be found and lived only through Jesus Christ.
Women have tried and keep trying to find fulfillment and purpose in all the wrong places. But when they come to the true Life-Giver, Jesus Christ, and completely surrender their lives over to Him, they will find the fullness of life they’ve been searching for.

Lucie’s goal through Beautiful One Magazine is for women to read through and find that God doesn’t leave them alone. No matter what, He’s the Answer and He’ll see them through – for real…until eternity.
