If you wish to submit a piece for one of these sections, it is important that you thoroughly familiarize yourself with the type of content we currently offer. Submitted pieces must clearly demonstrate compliance with our stated vision and complement the section for which they are written.We do not accept the following types of submissions: articles dealing with political issues, theological teaching, editorials/commentary, sermons, poetry, or works of fiction. We do, however, accept well-written submissions in the following categories:
Inspirational
We welcome pieces offering words of encouragement, inspirational thoughts, and short nuggets of wisdom for daily living.
Seasonal
We accept articles relating to both Christian and secular holidays (e.g. Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving). Such articles may be personal reflections on these holidays or may offer suggestions to help the reader celebrate them.
Humor
We welcome articles that share humorous events or observations.
Personal Sketches
We accept submissions providing our readers with a personal/biographical sketch of individuals who are living a “Beautiful” life. These individuals are those who demonstrate consistency in their Christian walk and use their lives to make a positive impact in the world. Such pieces should focus on a “slice of life” rather than offering a detailed biographical history.
Testimonies
We accept articles sharing testimonies of miracles and healings. All stories must be thoroughly researched and healings must be medically documented. All submissions in this category must be accompanied by references or the names of individuals who can be contacted to substantiate the facts of the story.
All article submissions should be original works between 800 and 1,500 words in length. Beautiful One Magazine requests that all submissions be previously unpublished material.
Where Should You Start?
Beautiful One Magazine currently accepts unsolicited manuscripts. Please send all prospective articles to submissions@beautifulonemagazine.com.
Articles should be single-spaced and must include the author’s name, home address, phone number, and email address in the top left corner of the first page. Please clearly state the section for which you are submitting the manuscript.
Beautiful One Magazine reserves all rights to manuscripts accepted for publication. We require all authors to sign a form confirming their legal release of rights on all materials published by Beautiful One Magazine under their name.
If your submission is accepted for publication, our editorial staff will contact you and provide you with the necessary legal forms. Beautiful One Magazine does not offer payment for any articles that we publish.
Beautiful One Magazine reserves the right to request revisions and/or alter wording or phrasing on all accepted manuscripts at the discretion of our editorial staff. Please note that not all submissions will be accepted for publication.
